WTCR: DG Sport Competition will enter two Peugeot 308 TCR

DG Sport Competition is currently working on the finalization of the project to enter two new Peugeot 308 TCRs into the WTCR 2018 championship, replacing the WTCC. Negotiations are ongoing to raise the necessary budget and to conclude the contracting of two fast drivers.

"I am very confident in the potential of the new car produced by Peugeot Sport and I am sure that we will be able to announce our line-up quickly," said Christian Jupsin, team manager of the Belgian structure based alongside the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. "The increase of the budget in WTCR compared to the TCR International Series obliges us to postpone the formalization of our participation. It is clear that the visibility and return for sponsors and partners will be much higher in the FIA WORLD TOURING CAR CUP, which will certainly help us to finalize the project. "

As a reminder, the first race will be held in early April on the urban circuit of Marrakech (Morocco).
